One method consists of dragging and dropping selected files onto the desktop or on the Finder’s windows. Moreover, Zip View Pro provides several ways to uncompress selected files inside the archive.
ZIP VIEWER FOR MAC ARCHIVE
To open an archive in Zip View Pro, you can just drop it onto the app’s dock icon or use the standard File > Open option. You can even right click on it to browse the archive using hierarchical menus. As mentioned, the upper bar serves as a navigation tool for the archive’s folders. Zip View Pro is also designed to make it easy for you to browse the contents of a compressed file. You can simply press space on a selected file or click on its designated icon on the lower bar of the app’s main window to do so.įurthermore, Zip View Pro features a minimalistic user interface comprised of an upper bar (that displays the path of the current folder), a middle area which displays the archived content, as well as a lower bar that includes a slider for enlarging / diminishing the file icons.
The application supports macOS’s built-in QuickLook tool for previewing files inside an archive. Secondly, Zip View Pro allows you to extract only selected files from the archive.
